The highly regarded charity Kids Out aims and succeeds in providing fun, in all of its forms, to children who are otherwise denied those experiences as a result of their social or medical circumstances. Sue O'Brien is Chairman of the fundraising committee which organises the Kids Out Annual Ball.  The Ball has raised more than £300,000 for this important cause.

NSPCC
In 2003, we became a corporate sponsor for the NSPCC and have since raised over £60,000 for this important cause. We have also co-sponsored the Employer of the Year Awards, which are hosted annually by the Working Families charity. The particular award Norman Broadbent sponsors is the 'Family Friendly Award' in conjunction with the NSPCC.

Norman Broadbent supports The Rugby Players' Association (RPA) and in May 2010 again sponsored the Norman Broadbent Young Player of the Year Award.

This year's winner was Leicester Tigers' Ben Youngs, pictured alongsde Andrew Garner, Jerry Daniels and Martin Johnson, who will benefit from 12 months of business coaching and mentoring from the team at Norman Broadbent.

The Norman Broadbent Young Player of the Year Award is voted for by the players themselves, and recognises the outstanding young talent that has emerged in the English club game over the past season.  .

Previous winners of the Young Player of the Year Award include 2003 Rugby World Cup hero Jonny Wilkinson (1999), current England captain Steve Borthwick (2001) and London Wasps and England's Danny Cipriani (2008). Last year the award went to Northampton Saints and England's Ben Foden.
