27 Nov 2007

Norman Broadbent is delighted to announce that Farrah Qureshi, Managing Director of Norman Broadbent’s Global Diversity Practice has successfully been included in the ‘Ones To Watch’ section of the Asian Power 100 list – the 100 most influential and highest achieving Asian men and women in Britain.

Of particular note is the inclusion of Farrah in the “Future Leaders” section of the publication. This section highlights a select group of twenty individuals from the Power 100 to watch out for in 2008 – a testimony to their contribution, innovation pioneering spirit and impact on the landscape of the UK and further afield.

On the 29 November 2007 Carter Anderson and Bank of Scotland will be launching the Asian Power 100 at the Riverbank Park Plaza, London.  The initiative will celebrate the achievements of Britain’s 100 highest achieving Asian men & women and will bring them together to promote the positive contribution being made by such individuals to the social and the economic well-being of Britain.

In any society, the presence of highly successful figures able to create and exercise a wealth of influence is a fundamental necessity.  These individuals are leaders, able to steer opinion and action towards the most positive possible outcomes in economic, social or cultural contexts.

The ‘Asian Power Ones to Watch’ are people who either through position or personality, exercise a significant power that influences events and sets parameters in the conduct of their organisation, the community in which they live and work and, as a result, the ongoing cultural and economic success of Britain.

Jason Collings, Norman Broadbent’s Chief Executive, stated:

Ã¢â‚¬Å“This is a great achievement and recognition of Farrah’s important work in the fields of diversity, learning and development. Her client base, which includes FTSE100 and Fortune 500 companies, through to major public sector organisations, is impressive and a testimony to the regard she is held in. This latest accolade can be added to her many other achievements including being runner up for the Corporate Category of the Asian Women of Achievement Awards 2007.
