After an early career as an Accountant, David joined a major recruitment firm that was focused on mid and senior level accounting and finance appointments. He quickly established the consultancy as a leading advertised selection firm, and was then asked to lead the executive search arm of an independent management consultancy. In 1992 he established and became Managing Director of a successful mid-size boutique search firm that covered assignments in the UK, Europe and USA, before joining Norman Broadbent in 2006.

David has established a particular expertise within risk management and the control functions, having completed assignments for Chief Risk Officers, Heads of Credit, Market and Operational Risk, as well as Compliance and Finance. In addition to this specialism he also has significant broad experience across other functions and sectors including; Managing Directors, Private Equity, Property, Operations and even F1 motor sport.
