Prior to joining the company in January 2007, Janet spent 20 years in HR working across a number industry sectors including Bio-Tech, IT, Retail and Supply Chain. Following her early career with Sainsbury’s, she joined Tibbett and Britten Group Plc and over 10 years conducted varies roles including Graduate Recruitment and Development Manager, Divisional HR Director and HR Director, International Division. Moving then to Hitachi Data Systems Janet headed the EMEA HR function and also performed a global role working with the senior leadership team in Silicon Valley, California.

Janet’s corporate experience has proven to be a great asset to her clients over several years. As a psychology graduate and a Chartered FCIPD her main focus at Garner HR is search for HR professionals at senior and executive level across all sectors.

Although best described as a HR generalist with a strong international profile, her areas of consultancy expertise include talent management, organisational change, leadership development, performance management, business “start ups” and employee engagement.
