Finding the right people
From the first moment that you contact us, we will start building a detailed picture of the type of person or people you are looking for. We will need to know about the experience and competencies you are looking for. However, we will also need other, broader answers so that we may pinpoint the more intangible qualities potential candidates will need.
Early on, we may ask to speak with people not immediately connected with the post we are looking to fill who can shed light on your organisation's culture and environment.
After that, one of our dedicated researchers, who will usually be involved at the briefing stage, will draw up an initial long-list and begin scouring the market for potential candidates. Our existing networks will be utilised, along with an original search into the marketplace.
Your consultant will then interview prospective candidates, assessing them against the agreed specification and determining their suitability for the role. Following this assessment, a formal candidate report will be written which we pass to you for consideration, accompanied by our own recommendations.
At this stage, client interviews are arranged on your behalf. As the process continues, we will work with you to negotiate the final offer and ensure that both client and candidate are happy.
