  • AXA XL insurance announced that Dan Curran has been appointed Chief Underwriting Officer for London Market Wholesale.
  • Lloyd’s appoints John Neal as chief executive officer.
  • International General Insurance Holdings Ltd. said it appointed Stephen Rix as chief actuary.
  • Britain’s largest listed insurer Prudential Plc said it had appointed JP Morgan’s Asia asset management business boss Michael Falcon to lead its North American business unit.
  • Willis Towers Watson, a global advisory, broking and solutions company, has announced the appointment of Elke Vagenende as Head of their Western Europe region for FINEX.
  • Quilter Old Mutual appoints CEO Andy McGlone.
  • Munich Re appointed Mari Lizette Malherbe CEO for Munich Re London life branch.
  • Starr Insurance Cos. has appointed Joost Vink as head of Europe. He is tasked with growing European operations outside of the United Kingdom.
  • Axis Insurance named Paul Cullum to the newly created role of head of business development for the insurance segment’s international division.
  • Everest Insurance, the diversified specialty insurance division of Everest Re Group, Ltd., announced the addition of Vincent Vandendael as CEO of Everest Insurance International.
  • AXA XL named Paul Greensmith CEO of units Catlin Underwriting Agencies Ltd. and XL Catlin Insurance Co. (UK) Ltd.
  • Zurich Insurance Group said it has appointed Helen Pickford as U.K. chief financial officer.
  • Marsh LLC has appointed Alistair Fraser CEO of its U.K. corporate division.
  • London-based insurer, RSA Group plc (LON:RSA), has said that it has appointed a chief underwriting officer (CUO) for its UK and international business: Adrian Sweeney.
  • Alex Hoctor-Duncan has moved to Standard Life Aberdeen, the $735bn Edinburgh asset manager, as global sales director and head of distribution for Emea.
  • Saga Plc, UK’s specialist in products and services for life after 50, has appointed James Quin as its group chief financial officer and executive director.
  • BGL Group has announced that Jonathon Brown will be the next chief executive officer of Compare the Market.
  • The Personal Finance Society (PFS) has appointed Sanlam UK chief executive John White as its president for 2018/19.
  • Cash plan provider Health Shield has announced that it has appointed commercial director Courtney Marsh as its new chief executive.
  • Paul Morden has been named chief financial officer (CFO) for Munich Re UK Life Branch.
  • Property and casualty insurer Chubb has appointed Mike Berry as the new head of surety for Europe.
  • Standard Chartered has announced the appointment of David Whiteing as Group Chief Operating Officer.
  • Chubb has announced the appointment of Janet Edeyas Head of Management Liability for the UK and Ireland.
  • Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) has recruited James Crossley as head of UK retail sales.
  • American International Group have announced that Thomas Lillelund will join as ceo of AIG Europe SA.
  • Tilney has hired former Royal London chief operating officer Andy Grant as its head of financial planning division as it eyes fresh acquisitions.
  • The London Market Group (LMG) has named Clare Lebecq as its new CEO who will assume her new role from 1 November 2018.
  • JLT Specialty said it appointed Nigel Somerville as head of risk consulting for Europe.
  • Liverpool Victoria Friendly Society (LV=) has today announced the appointment of Georgina Farrell as Human Resources (HR) Director.
  • Fidelity International has appointed M&G’s Anne Richards as CEO, the company has announced.
  • Wesleyan Bank has appointed David Brownbill as its head of indirect sales.
