  • Waitrose has named Ross Avery as its new finance director.

  • Alastair Murray, the CFO of UK manufacturer Premier Foods, is to take on the additional role of acting CEO
  • Lloyds of London insurer Beazley Plc on Thursday named Sally Lake as its finance director.
  • The man who did not get the top job at Compass has been named as chief executive of Diploma, the £1.4 billion specialist distribution company.
  • UK-based biotechnology company Phico Therapeutics Ltd has appointed Andrew Armour as financial director.
  • UKFast has appointed Catherine Greening as chief financial officer (CFO) as the firm embarks on an ambitious five-year growth
  • London-based Tasker Insurance Group Ltd. appointed Jonathan Webber its new CFO, Insurance Business reported.
  • Hamilton Underwriting, the managing agency of Syndicate 3334 and the Lloyd’s operations of Hamilton Insurance Group, has announced that Robert Vetch has joined the agency as CFO.
  • Compre, the independent legacy acquirer, has announced the appointment of Simon Hawkins as CFO, effective immediately.
  • Wealth manager Kingswood Holdings, which trades as KW Wealth, has appointed Patrick Goulding, a chartered accountant with 25 years’ experience in global financial services, as its group finance director.
  • Convenience store chain McColl’s Retail Group has appointed Robbie Bell to its board as chief financial officer.
  • Netflixhas announced the hiring of Spencer Neumann for the position of CFO
  • Amelie Breitburd has been appointed chief financial officer of Axa UK and Ireland.
  • IWG plc (“IWG” or the “Group”), the global operator of leading co-work and workspace companies, has appointed Eric Hageman as Chief Financial Officer
  • The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc (RBS) has appointed Katie Murray as Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), with effect from 1st January, 2019.
  • Avon Products Inc., a London, U.K.-based cosmetic company, named Gustavo Arnal financial chief, effective in spring 2019. Mr. Arnal succeeds Jamie Wilson, who is leaving the company to pursue outside opportunities. Previously, Mr. Arnal was CFO of Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc.’s international divisions and global functions. Prior to WBA, Mr. Arnal worked for more than 20 years with Procter & Gamble Co. in several executive roles.
  • Thyssenkrupp AG, the German industrial conglomerate, said it plans to name Johannes Dietsch as chief financial officer, effective February. Mr. Dietsch, a former CFO of Bayer AG, will be offered a three-year contract, the company said. Thyssenkrupp’s CFO role was previously held by Guido Kerkhoff until he was made chief executive in the summer. Compensation details weren’t available.
  • Bang & Olufsen A/S, a Danish consumer electronics company, appointed Nikolaj Wendelboe as CFO and executive vice president, effective no later than July 2019. Mr. Wendelboe replaces Anders Aakær Jensen, who left the company in November. He joins from Arriva Danmark A/S, where he served as CEO and prior to that as CFO. Compensation details were not available.
  • Lindsay Dixon is moving from Scotch whisky distiller William Grant & Sons to become chief financial officer of broadcaster STV.
  • Vertu Motors Appoints Karen Anderson As CFO.
  • Chris Kennedy is expected to join ITV following the announcement in November of his appointment as Chief Financial Officer. He succeeds Ian Griffiths, who formally leaves ITV at the end of March
  • K. natural-gas and electricity-network operator National Grid PLC appointed interim Chief Financial Officer Andy Agg as permanent finance chief, effective Jan. 1
  • James Quin becomes Saga Group Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Jonathan Hill who stepped down in September
  • Jennifer Rudder has been appointed as the new Finance Director for Apollo Fire Detectors Ltd and will be responsible for the company’s global finance and IT teams.
  • Hyperion Insurance Group has announced that Richard Houghton will join the business as Interim Group Chief Financial Officer
  • Patisserie Valerie hires Nick Perrin as interim CFO
  • The Nature’s Bounty Co. announced it has named a new CFO, Ted McCormick, who will be reporting to President and CEO Paul Sturman effective December 10, 2018.
  • Accountancy software company Sage Group has appointed an experienced finance veteran as its new chief financial officer.
  • Zurich Insurance Group said it has appointed Helen Pickford as U.K. chief financial officer.
