David joined the Research and Insight team at Norman Broadbent in 2018.
Prior to joining Norman Broadbent, David held lecturing and research positions in the universities of Birmingham and Oxford, where he designed programmes in English Literature at undergraduate and postgraduate level. He published an academic book, The Venice Myth (London & New York: Routledge, 2014), and has also written for The Guardian and The Times, among other publications. More recently, he has worked in radio writing and production for an independent production company creating documentaries for BBC Radio.
David holds a BA in English Language and Literature from Oxford University, and an MA and PhD in English from Queen Mary, University of London.
