Following a positive First Half 2020 Trading Update, Norman Broadbent Group has announced the appointment of Alan Howarth as Group Non-Executive Chair with effect from 1 August 2020. Alan will also Chair the Remuneration Committee, the Audit Committee, and the AIM Compliance Committee.
Alan has extensive senior executive experience in a range of national and international organisations in both the public and private sector. He was a founding partner of EY’s UK Management Consulting practice and, for the last 15 years, has managed a portfolio of non-executive appointments as Chairman of both public and private companies primarily in the UK and US Technology and Health sectors. He is Chairman of Cerillion plc, and Non-Executive Director of Tern plc and Fundamental VR Ltd. In the past five years Alan holds, or has held, the following directorships and partnerships:
