Simon is Co-Founder and Chief Executive of Society, now part of the Norman Broadbent Group, and serves as Managing Director following its acquisition.
Since founding the business in 2010, he has led its growth through B Corp certification, international expansion and the creation of its charity partner, The Society Foundation, where he is a founding trustee. He previously worked for the executive search firm Perrett Laver and for the global group Signium International.
Simon’s personal search track record is broad and eclectic. He has handled Chief Executive appointments for purpose-led businesses like re-wrap and MSL, for private members' clubs like the Athenaeum and the VSC, for charities like WAC Arts and the Young Women's Trust, and for education groups like UWC and the Aga Khan Schools. He is also highly experienced at Non-Executive appointments, advising clients as diverse as Alzheimer's Society, Birmingham City University, and the British Exploring Society.
Simon is a passionate believer in the ability of leadership to have a transformative effect on organisations, and in the potential for responsible organisations to have a transformative impact on the wider world. In his spare time he is Vice-Chair of Hitchin Girls' School in Hertfordshire.
Simon grew up in South Wales and read Philosophy and Politics at the University of Warwick.
