Chris leads the global Power, Utilities and Natural Resources practice at Norman Broadbent Plc. He and his team have significant talent management advisory experience across the international industrial sectors, with specialisms across renewables (offshore/onshore wind, energy from waste, solar, battery storage), power (nuclear, CHP, thermal, biomass), hydrogen, CCUS, utilities (water/electricity T&D/gas), mining & metals, and industrial engineering (EPC, O&M).
Chris' experience includes traditional executive search (Board / C-suite / SVP / Director / "Head of" levels), bespoke talent management solutions (succession/pipelines/project-RPO) and leadership assessment. He supports investors, asset owners, developers and suppliers to define organisational structure, assess internal capabilities, and plan proactively for future challenges around human capital.
Alongside his extensive talent management advisory experience, Chris has a BA(Hons) degree in design, is formally accredited by the AESC (Association of Executive Search & Leadership Consultants) and a qualified psychometric and behavioural competency assessor.
Chris is a passionate guitarist and singer, having played since he was seven years old. Following university, he dedicated several years to his band, recording a professional studio album and gigging heavily across the UK. He also enjoys a wide range of sports such as mountain biking, snowboarding, lacrosse, rugby, and football. Whilst retaining his enthusiasm for music and sports, Chris now prioritises quality time with his wife, two young children and their dog.
