James is a Director of Norman Broadbent's Investor Practice, partnering with Private Equity funds and their Portfolio Companies in advising on Board and Executive leadership appointments to deliver transformation, growth and execute Value Creation Plans.
James has over 23 years ' international experience in executive search, succession planning and Board consulting with both listed and Private Equity backed clients. His sectors coverage across PE has included Technology, Infrastructure, Industrials, Renewable Energy and Financial Services. James has worked on a range of C-suite roles including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Commercial Officer.
Having previously lived in the US and Australia - James is known for leveraging his extensive international network to deliver challenging and critical international leadership assignments across EMEA, US and Asia Pacific.
Prior to Norman Broadbent, James was a Director with Dartmouth Partner's Private Equity Portfolio Practice in London, and former Partner with Gerard-Daniels in London and Sydney.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Anglia Ruskin University.
Outside of work James is kept busy with his young family and hyperactive Labrador. He is often found supporting or coaching his two son's sports teams or cutting a frustrated figure on the golf course.
