Mark is a Director at Norman Broadbent, leading our Retail practice both within the UK & Internationally. Mark has partnered with a range of retail clients, placing key appointments from C-Suite to senior leadership level, specialising in Commercial, Operational and Corporate functions.
Prior to joining Norman Broadbent, Mark was an Operating Director for a FTSE 250 global recruitment firm for 16 years, specializing in senior Finance whilst managing multi-discipline teams across Aberdeen, Edinburgh & Newcastle. Mark has worked across both permanent & interim senior positions within executive search with clients ranging from local SMEs to Global multi-national firms. He holds an MA & BA from Heriot-Watt University.
Outside of work Mark enjoys sending time with his wife Carolyn and two daughters, Niamh & Ellie. They all enjoy the Aberdeenshire countryside, walking or running and entertaining George, their much-loved dog!! Having grown up just outside of Manchester, Mark also spends most weekends during football seasons watching Manchester United - in recent years with very little joy!
