Sam leads our global Aviation & Civil Aerospace practice, partnering with - amongst others - airports, airlines, owner/operators, 3rd party suppliers and manufacturers. Sam also has a keen interest on the sustainability of the sector, including technological advancement and the vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) & urban air mobility (UAM) spaces.
Previously, Sam built and led an aviation practice at a boutique international search firm, before moving inhouse to lead and develop the executive search function at a multisite, international airport operating group. Beyond aviation and aerospace, Sam has also built and lead the inhouse Search function at a well-known international e-Commerce player, as well as a breadth of search experience across the retail, FMCG, financial services and professional services sectors.
His experience is truly global, having lived and worked in various European countries, as well as in the Americas and as a result speaks Spanish and German. He holds a BA in Modern Languages and a MSc. In Global Human Resource Management.
Outside of work Sam is a keen traveller and as often as possible can be found traversing the UK and Europe in his VW Camper with his wife Lila and two kids, Seren and Elis. For his sins he’s also a long-suffering Ipswich Town fan.
