Sean is the Chief Operating Officer of Norman Broadbent and is responsible for the executive search and interim business. In addition to his leadership responsibilities, Sean remains focused on leading board and executive-level searches and consulting projects, with a particular focus on international energy markets and private equity. Sean is a trusted advisor in the global energy market.
He has 20 years’ experience in executive search and leadership advisory, having built market-leading brands and teams in the UK and internationally. Most recently, Sean was a co-founder of a successful energy- and infrastructure-focussed search and advisory business with offices in Aberdeen, London, Dubai, and Houston. He was previously Managing Partner for a market leading boutique where he was instrumental in driving operational excellence globally. Sean is passionate about developing the next generation of talent and has a proven track record of developing others to progress in their careers.
Sean is a licensed practitioner in Hogan and Thomas International psychometric assessment tools.
Outside of work, Sean is a keen sportsman whose interests include playing football and mountain biking. He enjoys passing on his love of sport to his two children and enjoys watching them participate as much as playing himself.
